Tosca, under the direction of Tony Mata, will be performed at the Phillip's Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Florida.

May 3, 2009
Tony will be in New York City for the Latin ACE Awards. His off-Broadway production Dinner for Two (Cena Para Dos) won five of its seven nominations.

May 18-24, 2009
Grease and Night at the Opera, both under the direction of Tony Mata, will be performed for Florida’s First Coast Arts Festival in St. Augustine, Florida.

November 2009
Damn Yankees, under the direction of Tony Mata, will be produced in November by the University of Florida School of Theatre and Dance during its 2009/10 season.

Work in Progress
Tony is also currently directing and producing a documentary entitled "Theatre Over Rice and Beans," which is a retrospective look at three New York Latino theatres.

Tony is also launching his fourth season as host of Gallery, a television show on WUFT/PBS, devoted to the arts in Central Florida.
